WHAT AN EXPERIENCE

Where to start ! The service was great, the food was amazing and the setting just topped it off. They catered for a vegetarian and also a crustacean allergy in their stride.
The Savoury layer included, Chicken Waldorf Champagne Baguette, Spanner Crab Sandwich, Rare Roast Beef with Horseradish, Smoked Salmon with Dill Crème, Veal Sausage Roll, Mini Quiche. (menu attached). The vegetarian options were just as exciting, including a goats cheese and beetroot tartlet and a yogurt / avocado mousse amongst other delights. Each element was perfectly executed and full of flavour.

The sweets were gorgeous, there was alot of ohhhing and agghhing coming from our table. Pistachio Macaroon, White and Milk Chocolate Mousse, Lemon Tartlets, Vanilla Crème Mille – Feuille. The chocolate mousse and vanilla creme mille melted in your mouth. Sheer decadence.

The scones where filled with raspberry coulis and cream and were moist and flavoursome, with a hint of vanilla essence and sprinkled with icing sugar.
There were over 10 teas to choose from and it was a nice cross section of flavours from earl grey to eucalyptus. Its always nice to try something different and it did not disappoint.

The teapot was a 2 cup serve. The price is $50 or $65 with a glass of fabulous french champagne, this really is a delight.
